This is the story one little family
making its way from the
salty shores of New England
to the suburbs of Chicago.
It won't always be easy,
but as long as we're together,
we'll find a way to bloom where we're planted.

The Great American Yard Sale

It sounded like such a great idea! We need furniture desperately and
signs all over pointed us to a veritable bastion of exactly what I was
looking for!

Then we saw the line. Then when we braved the line and finally got to
the front we saw the sign that was the kiss of death. "Leave
strollers at gate."

Anyone who has met our two year old escape artist knows where we are
now...back in the car, headed to Target so the kids can spend the five
bucks they were each granted as bait for behaving themselves.

It's only 9:30, so we haven't wasted the day - in fact, tuis is the
earliest we've gotten moving all week. lessonlearned though. When
yard sailing at the Great American...leave the young'uns at home.

There is a highly rated flea market in my town and I've yet to go because of the same stroller issue. Strollers and crowds of people just don't make my heart pitter-pat. Someday I'll get there. Just not today. Or tomorrow. :)
