This is the story one little family
making its way from the
salty shores of New England
to the suburbs of Chicago.
It won't always be easy,
but as long as we're together,
we'll find a way to bloom where we're planted.

Who needs a playground...

When you've got an extra mattress lying around...

Jack and Ben's new beds were delivered this week, with new mattresses.  Molly's was in the worst shape, so she got Jack's old mattress, and her cheapo one is destined for the basement until we can figure out what to do with it.  In the meantime, there's been a whole lot of bouncing going on at the Mallett house!

I should email you a picture of our family room this very moment. We've got an air mattress set up along with a toddler bed mattress. Kids are funny. (Even when they are sick!).

Totally unrelated ... have you seen myjobchart.com? I think this may be the answer to end yelling and whining.

What a great web site Christine! We actually do something very similar at our house. I'll have to blog about it sometime soon.

Sandy, you may want to hold off and see how Ben turns out. Right now he's cute as a button, but that's because God knows that the boy is so naughty I'd probably give him away otherwise. He's also a terrible momma's boy. And he'll likely be in therapy for many decades over his mother ditching him for the Caribbean!
